Jackson Park Golf Course

Located on the south side of the City of Chicago, Jackson Park has a “neighborhood golf course feel” that recently received a championship $2.8 million facelift! The Chicago Park District Golf, operated by Indigo Sports, chose to upgrade bunker sand, drainage, and rebuild new tee boxes within this Quinto Golf Designs project.  Hollembeak Construction was selected for the task of installing Thelen’s USGA (United States Golf Association) approved “Double Diamond” bunker sand.  The renovation included a capillary concrete bunker liner for drainage technology, and along with new state-of-the-art bunkers, newly constructed tee boxes were built utilizing Thelen’s USGA 7-2-1 Ultra Fine Construction Mix.
