Winnetka Golf Club offers a championship 18-hole course and a par-3 nine-hole course. The golf course features a quality and challenging layout with superb course conditions. Winnetka Golf Club provides a best-in-class public golf course choice for Chicago’s North Shore where players enjoy an overall satisfying time, through elevated on-course and instructional experiences, junior and adult programming, and premier customer service.  Winnetka Golf Club is the inaugural project for Thelen Golf & Sports, therefore a very special project to us thanks to the trust in which Dave Groelle had in this bunker sand.  The incredible stormwater engineering that went along with the construction of this golf course required a bunker sand that coincided with superior infiltration rates and rapid draining requirements for immediate playability after large rain events.  Thelen Golf & Sports had just the product(s) for this task, through our USGA (United States Golf Association) approved “Diamond” bunker sand. Thelen Golf & Sports USGA “Diamond” bunker sand has an infiltration rate that simply can’t be matched by other local options.
